Quality control

There are few agricultural products that undergo the same treatment, processing and classification of coffee.

To guarantee the quality of the final product and prevent any defect or imperfection, we check every lot through strict quality controls made in accordance with the international procedures.

The quality control process starts in the countries of origin, where our partners take the pre-shipment samples from the lot we bought and send it to our laboratory in Naples: here, we carry out a careful visual inspection to check that the coffee corresponds the standards required, and a rigorous cup-test to ensure that the flavor and the roasting profiles are suitable for the demands of our customers.

The same tests are performed on the samples taken from coffee arrived in the port of destination and, as soon as these samples correspond to the pre-shipment ones, then the food safety analysis required by current European regulations are performed.
